The Old Breed Scholarship Program

Honoring the fallen, taking care of their families

As part of the mission of the Old Breed Rugby Club, we are committed to caring for the families of our Fallen teammates.

In 2024, we launched the Old Breed Rugby Scholarship program. The scholarship is eligible to the children of eligible military members, with a preference towards children affiliated with rugby in some way.

Our annual endowment to the scholarship is $25,000.

To ensure the effectiveness in the administration of the Old Breed Rugby Scholarship, we have partnered with the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation.

The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is the nation’s largest and oldest provider of need-based scholarships to the children of military families. You can learn more about the MCSF here.
